Barwon Heads is a charming coastal town situated at the confluence of the Barwon River and Bass Strait in the Australian state of Victoria. The town, with a population of approximately 4,000, has a rich history dating back to the 19th century.

The town was also home to a military hospital, which treated soldiers injured in the Pacific Theater of the war.
